Eternal

Eternal

It’s summer.  I’m all set for a vacation.  We’re thinking maybe taking a trip to California.  Why the vacation?  Well, I’m celebrating.  You see, it’s done.  It’s done. Eternal is finally done.  And let’s just say if you enjoyed Reborn, you are going to love Eternal.   We have Steve.  We have Chase.  We have a mystery and even a lot more action.  Della has to kick some  . . . you know what.  She’s such a fun character to write. I tell you, sometimes I wish I was more like Della.   I think everyone could use some Dellatude.  Oh…and while I don’t’ have a date, I can whisper that you guys might get another novella soon.  Let’s just say the novella had me crying.  So check back in here for more details and to hear publishing dates.

Spending my summer crocheting and making tie-fleece baby blankets to donate to our local children’s hospital. Last year our group gave over 700 blankets…sharing a warm hug with these little ones. Plus, trying to keep my 3 teenagers from being bored…smile.
    Would love to read this.

My plans for this summer is to read as many books as I can. You see, I went back to college to finish my bachelor’s degree. That along with working full time and having four children there has been no time for extra reading. So now that I’ve graduated I’m trying to spend all summer cramming in as many books as I can. I have read all the Shadow Falls books but yet have read Reborn. Can’t wait to get my hands on this book!

  6. Kayla Edwards says:

I just finished All the Truth That’s In Me by Julie Berry – wonderful book! And just started The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd (really excited about this – a lot of my patrons have recommended it to me!). I’m a public librarian (finishing school to be a school media specialist!!) so I’ll be spending most of my summer in the library. I’ll be going to Washington, DC in a few weeks (My husband’s donating blood stem cells to a cancer patient – sorry, had to brag on him a minute. I’m really proud of him!!) so I’ll need something new to read while doing all that waiting. Anyone have any good suggestions (I’ve read all the Shadow Falls books!!)?

    • Misty Marie says:

I suggest The Iron Fey Trilogy by Julie Kagawa. It was fantastic. She also has another trilogy called The Blood of Eden. The Sweep series by Cate Tiernan was very good too. Hope I’ve helped :)

  7. Samantha Wallace says:

I am reading the Mythos Academy by Jennifer Estep this summer and probably more YA books. I have already read Unspoken and Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan. Thanks for the giveaway!! :)

  8. Alexandra says:

This summer, I’ll be spending most of my time with my family and friends. I’ll also be reading the Gone series by Michael Grant.

  9. Misty Marie says:

Well, this summer I’ll be trying to find a job because my mom said that if I want more books that I have to buy them. I just finished City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare and I have to say I cried. It had so many twists and turns in the plot that it was unreal. I highly reccommend The Mortal Instruments series to everyone reading this. I also read The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa since I’ve been out of school. It was fantastic as well. Both women are phenomenal writers. Other than that I’m not 100% what I’ll be reading. Hopefully and ARC of Reborn :) Please anyone that is reading this give me suggestions as to what to read.

  10. Katie B. says:

I’ve been reading like crazy!!! I plan to do a lot more of it and we’re also going on vacation! Maybe to Colorado! I would love to win the signed ARC so I can give it to my friend as a birthday present! :)

This summer I will be reading A LOT, spending time with my family, swimming in my aunt’s pool pretty much every day, finding a job, and I might go to Annapolis, MD to visit my great aunt, and maybe going to New York.

And I’m currently reading The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks. Not really a huge fan of his, but this book is actually really interesting. Can’t wait to see how it ends!

  26. Ally says:

I’m going to be reading all summer! I’ll be working on some stop-motion little movies like the movie Coraline! I’m really excited because I haven’t read the book yet and we will be reading it as a class for summer school. Probably going to reread the shadow fall series for the third time too! Cant help it!

  27. kellie m says:

Hi CC, many congrats on finishing Eternal, super super excited for that :) I’m currently reading Harry Potter (again hehe). I’m onto The Chamber of Secrets right now. I know i’ve read them dozens of times but I love them. I’ve lined up a few series to read this summer: Shadow Falls, Harry Potter, Raised by Wolves and the Morganville Vampires. These are my four favourite series. It’s impossible to choose an ultimate favourite as they are all very different from each other and I love each of them for differentness (if that’s even a word). I still have to work everyday though, and I sometimes wish I was still at school so I could still have the holidays to enjoy. I will be booking a few days off work though as my older sister is coming to visit from Canada. I haven’t seen her for about eight years since she moved there as the cost of flights from Birmingham, UK to Calgary are way too expensive. She’s coming for two weeks so we can have a good old gossip and catch up. Hope you have a good summer too CC.
    Love Kellie, UK

  29. This summer I’m doing a mixture of things from going camping, going to a few concerts and also going to a convention. Its going to be a fun fun summer!

  30. Brenda says:

I’m reading The Fault in Our Stars, a book I borrowed from my niece because she recommended it! For the summer I plan to go boating with my family a lot, camping, read and enjoy time with my husband and new baby girl!

  31. Katrina Nguyen says:

I have a passion for reading. I have read so many wonderful series like the Hunger Games, Divergent, the Maze Runner, Matched, and so many others. My friend had been reading this book and it looked interesting. The momenti started reading it I couldn’t stop! I am not able to purchase it since I don’t have any money. I had to borrow it from my publich library so I would very much appreciate it if I could have a copy of Reborn. It is such a fantastic book n I have become such a HUGE fan of you and your work. I am trying to read all your books this summer n haven’t gotten to read the Born at Midnight series sadly. Thank you for taking to time to read this C. C. Hunter! I would very much like it if I am lucky enough to win!

  32. Katrina Nguyen says:

Hi! this summer I am currently reading many series like The Maze Runner, The Hunger Games (again), Divergent, Matched, and many others. I am hoping to be able to read all your books this summer also. I have a passion for reading and I have become such a HUGE fan of yours! I LOVEE Della and her love triangle with Chase and Steve. Unfortunately, I don’t have money to be able to purchase this book so I had to borrow it from my local library. I would very much appreciate it if I won a copy of my own and not only that, it is going to be a signed copy! I will be hoping and wishing I am lucky enough to win this giveaway. Thank ever so much for taking your time to read this so I may be entered into your giveaway!!!

  33. Jocelyn S. says:

I usually spend my summer reading, and since I’m graduating high school, I get more time to read! I’m going to also get a job this summer, hoping I get this one job because it will pay for two years of my college degree :) I’m majoring in English. I want to also finish writing two of my books and try to get published. Have a great summer CC and I hope you know that you’re one of the authors that inspire my writing and my choice to study English in college :) Good luck everyone!!

  34. Casey W. says:

This summer I’m reading the Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber and the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. If anyone hasn’t read these, I recommend that you try them. LOVE SHADOW FALLS!

    • Kayla Edwards says:

If you like Vampire Academy, you should definitely read Richelle Mead’s spin-off series Bloodlines. I think I like it better than VA!

      • Misty Marie says:

I like Bloodlines too, though I wouldn’t go as far to say I liked it better than VA. Honestly they both appeal to me in different ways. I think that the two are equals on almost every level.

  35. Yvonne Hsu says:

I haven’t read Reborn yet but I’m extremely excited for Eternal to come out. This summer is really relaxing for me and I have been spending most of my time reading. I’m also doing other things like shopping and watching movies with friends.

  36. Murrissia says:

My summer will consist of me going outside… with a book. I will also be trying to find a book series I haven’t read that interests me. Which reminds me; do u have any suggestions?

    • kellie m says:

Hi Murrissia, if you haven’t read The Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine I can highly recommend those (all 15 of them). I got my older sister to read them and she loved them too :)

  37. Caroline K. says:

This summer I will visit a good friend in France. I´ll stay there for four weeks and I´m finally going to see Paris! I´m so excited! *_*
Today I started reading ´The spectacular now´ by Tim Sharp. And it´s lovely! <3

  38. Anny.Y says:

    Hey, C.C.!
I really enjoyed reading Shadow Falls. :)
This summer I’ll probably spend it re-reading Kylie’s story again and volunteering at a museum, just finished Reborn, I loved it, can’t wait for Eternal! Sorry for the late comment, thou. :) love you and you’re books <3

  39. Alexandra Whittall says:

C.C, you should write a novella about what’s happening with Kylie during Reborn and after Chosen at Nightfall! All the stuff with Lucas. I really miss it from her point view but I’m still loving Della!!

  40. Emily says:

Well I will be working, and I really love to read books

  41. Lesly says:

This summer I’m reading a lot of books like never fade :-D . And help clean the house so my mom have more time to the family.

  42. Tiffany B says:

This summer I spent my time working Mon-Friday all day, and while at work I read Whispers at moon rise, chosen at nightfall both Dellas online books 0.5 & 4.5 & I just finished Reborn. This summer I also spent most of my time bringing my son outside hiking, swimming, camping. He is only 1 & a half and loves spending his time outside or reading (well having me read to him). I cannot wait for Eternal to come out, I am so thankful that my younger sister works at a book store, as soon as she is working again I am having her pre-order Eternal. Thank you so much C. C for these adventures, I have not read so much so fast since I was a kid.

  43. Hala says:

OMG! I can t wait for Eternal! I just finished Reborn, it only took me 2days! I just couldn’t get enough of it! Btw after you r done with Della’s serie maybe you can start writting Miranda’s, and then Perry’s,then Lucas’s and all the others. That way the serie will never end! ( and also, when will u be revealing Miranda’s last name?)
